CooCox Business Model

Like most free or open software, CooCox now doesn't have clear business model.

Here we want to introduce our ideas: for users who don't know our business model may worry about the future investment after using CooCox software, and for partners who want to know our business model before cooperating with us.

Currently, CooCox only consider looking for some stakeholders to sponsor us. This also should be referred as a business model. And the model analysis could be described as the following figure:

What can we provide to CooCox sponsor?

  Which will support CooCox sponsor's products, including chips, emulator, compiler, OS... And all of them will release in the form of free or open if you wish.
• Free Technical Support
  To anyone who develops application based on CooCox sponsor's products with CooCox tools.
  
• Software Development
  CooCox has a group of super professional engineers who are familiar with Cortex M3 chips. We can help CooCox sponsor to develop software including peripheral library, drivers, examples, protocol stack, algorithm, complete solutions...
  
• Popularization
  CooCox could help its sponsor to popularize their products and increase sales with its gradually rising influence and gradually expand user groups.

CooCox's future business model is not certain, advertising and other value-added services are likely to be our business model.
