Creating a debug configuration

You can create customized debug configuration which you can save for reuse.


To create a debug configuration:
 
 
  1. 1. Expand Cortex M3 Application in the Configurations box.
  2. 2. Click New to create a new configuration.
  3. 3. Click Project Browser… button in Main tab to select a project which this new configuration is created for.
  4. 4. Choose the project.
  5. 5. Click Search Project... to search all elfs belong to this project.
  6. 6. Select a qualified ELF.
  7. 7. Click the Debugger tab.
  8. 8. Click Vendor Dropdownlist to select vendor accroding to your project.
  9. 9. Click Device Dropdownlist to select Device accroding to your project.
  10. 10. Memory Area and Colink JTAG Speed will be automatically configurated for you.
  11. 11. Click Download tab. You can modify the config if you want.
  12. 12. Click Debug to start your debugging.
            

Another method to create a debug configuration:


Comparing to the first method, the diffrence lies in step 3. At the step 3, you can select an existing configuration and then click Duplicate to create a new configuration which will copy all the settings of the selected configuration.

  2. 2. Configurate Main page.
  3. 3. Configurate Debugger page.
  4. 4. Configurate Download page.
  5. 5. Click Debug to start your debugging.
